MAX
Maximum Acceleration … Xtra Width

A ski designed for fast starts, more stability, and effortless speed buoy-to-buoy.

MAX is a slalom ski engineered for maximum acceleration and unmatched stability. The MAX is wider so that it creates acceleration through the wakes with less load on the body; a ski that casts outward towards the buoy achieving higher swing on the boat, with less drag..Whether you're a shortline slalom skier at 38 off, or progressing in the course at your favorite speed, MAX helps you do more — with less effort and better results = MAX enjoyment.

The D3 MAX is equal in quality and performance of our other top-end slalom skis, with the only difference being a slightly wider profile..The design is for skiers of all speeds whether you ride at 30, 32, 34 or 36 mph. Also consider MAX if you are between sizes in a weight range for a traditional shaped ski.

    • Extra Width means Less Effort
    • Maximum Acceleration Engineered into Every Inch
    • Quick Symmetrical turns On-side and Off-side
    • Unmatched Stability at all Speeds

The MAX features:

  • Ski Profile – Wider width profile compared to the ION III and NEO III.
  • Tunnel Concave - Optimized to promote cross course speed buoy-to-buoy.
  • Rocker Profile - Higher rocker - Designed to promote fast & easy symmetrical turns at each buoy.
  • Tail Shape – A wider tail means less resistance which allows the tail to rotate the ski to an immediate angle.
  • Bevel Angle - Allows you to stay upright and level over the ski.
  • Bevel Shape - The tail of the ski has a progressively larger and rounder bevel that providesstability.
  • Machine Screw Inserts - Accommodates D3, Reflex and most current binding hole patterns. All inserts are set in hard PVC anchor blocks for trouble free screw retention.
  • Accuset Fin Block - Accurate, three-point set screws for easy fin adjustments and laser aligned fin position.
  • Sizes - 66", 67" & 68"
